Thank you for visiting my page. As a retired Air Force veteran and a proud parent in Derby Public Schools, I, Anne Phillips, am deeply committed to our community involvement. I believe it’s time for a campaign for change that brings Derby back to its roots: common sense, integrity, and maintaining our reputation as a welcoming, family-oriented town. My experience in veteran advocacy also informs my dedication to ensuring that our community remains strong and united.

Serving The Community
I was stationed at McConnell AFB for 15 years until my retirement in 2025. With my extensive military leadership experience, I have come to view Derby as not just the school of choice for my own children, but also as an employer and community of choice. Now, I fully embrace community involvement and activism in my spare time to make this little town better. You can find me volunteering with organizations like the Derby Food Pantry, Save The Kitties, the Rotary Club, and Derby Public Schools, or advocating for veterans in Wichita at Starkey Inc. As Anne Phillips, I am committed to my campaign for change in our community.
Serving My Country
I spent 24 years of my life devoted to defending the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic. Even now in retirement, I remain committed to this principle. As Anne Phillips, I am a voracious advocate for veterans, championing veteran advocacy and mental health initiatives. I actively support the Bill of Rights and engage in community involvement to strengthen military-community partnerships, all while advocating for change within the Derby School Board.
